What you’d be doing?
a. recruitment for our clients -
- when a brand trusts us to hire for them, we take that very seriously
- this means understanding the role properly, not just dumping candidate profiles on them
- screening candidates, shortlisting, and making sure we’re recommending the right people, not just more people
- speaking to candidates - over calls, video calls, assessing intent, clarity, and fit
(this is the part which gets a little grunt-y, but matters the most)
we still call ourselves 100% human led hiring, and no AI - because you can’t fully “systemise” taste yet, especially for marketing, brand, design roles (what we specialise in) so we rely a lot on judgment, curation, conversations, and gut (we do rely on AI for our internal ops)
b. social media (here's where things get fun/ unhinged/ recruitment does not feel monotonous) -
- market the coolest roles, that get people hooked (we go unhinged here - example - https://www.linkedin.com/posts/shivanshii)
- posting, experimenting, figuring out what works - we have no guidelines (this launch video will help you understand that - check this out)
- staying on top of internet trends, culture moments
What we do at Palette Hire ?
we hire for some of the most interesting consumer brands in india right now. brands that you see on instagram, zepto, blinkit, shark tank, or that one ad everyone’s talking about - there’s a high chance we’re hiring for them or have hired for them. we sit at the intersection of hiring + internet + culture & we care a lot about taste (which is mostly our edge)
Who you are?
- have some prior internship / experience in recruitment or HR (nothing like it)
- chronically online (you just know what’s happening/ pop culture references/ who’s funded who)
- fluent with communication - this is a deal breaker unfortunately :/
- curious, sharp, and ask good questions (we don’t mind avg quality questions after office hours)
- don’t wait to be told every little thing
